Job Description
Build and Change Management
- Lead technology initiatives, propose design and architectural improvements, and develop operational models.
- Contribute high-quality, fully tested source code while meeting deadlines and coding standards.
- Collaborate with business analysts to clarify requirements.
- Manage deployment and change for solutions/platforms.
- Develop testing strategies with project managers and business analysts.
- Provide technical support during user acceptance testing.
Incident and Request Management
- Communicate effectively with business users and IT teams.
- Analyze enhancement requests and bug fixes.
- Document deliverables.
- Support production applications, analyze and resolve issues, and propose optimizations.
- Monitor software quality and project outcomes.
Change Management
- Implement a monthly release strategy aligned with analysis, coding, and testing milestones.
- Support the production release roadmap.
- Manage operations and provide level 3 application support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Continuous Improvement
- Drive process improvements.
Requirements
- 8+ years of Java experience.
- Strong knowledge of design patterns and principles.
- Proficiency in recent Java features (lambdas, streams, futures); SQL
- Expertise in the Spring framework, API development, and security design.
- Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and complexity analysis.
- Ability to analyze and debug code without a debugger.
- Experience with Maven, Git, and integration testing.
- Familiarity with cloud-native architecture (Microservices) and AWS.
- Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes.
Preferred:
- Experience with JupyterLab, GitLab, Jenkins, and Ansible in a DevOps environment.
- Familiarity with Jira or similar issue-tracking systems.
- Web development skills (HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS).
- Understanding of ElasticSearch.
- Interest in finance and financial markets
