Responsibilities:
- Assist Resident Engineers in daily close supervision and coordination duties on Building Services (Mechanical and Electrical)
- Inspect and supervise Contractors’ works and tests to Approved Drawings and Specifications
- Keep quality records of all works, monitor and report on work progress
- Responsible for the consistency of quality assurance inspections and testing for works
- Coordinate with Contractors and Owner on execution of works
- Report to Mechanical Lead for BS Mechanical work and Electrical Lead for BS Electrical work.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in quality assurance inspections on large infrastructure project, or solid waste management or water infrastructure projects in Singapore
- The candidate will be assigned duties mainly for Building services (BS) works for both Mechanical and Electrical (M&E)
- Areas of supervision may include: sanitary and plumbing, fire-fighting including fire alarm system, ACMV, lighting and small power, security systems, EVC system, ISMS, ViMS, CCTV, FIDS, BACS, BMS, lifts etc
- Proficient with MS Office
- Familiarity with BIM software (Revit) is an advantage
- Possessing a Resident Technical Officer reqistration with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore / Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore will be considered favourably
- Possess some flexibility in working hours, as site work including Saturdays can extend outside of the typical 8.30am and to 5.30pm work hours including Saturdays
