Job Description:

The Senior Event & Marcoms Executive will be responsible for leading and executing IP events, managing all aspects of event planning, and driving marketing and communications strategies. This role requires a creative, detail-oriented individual with experience in handling large-scale events and working closely with IP licensors.


1. Event Planning & Execution:


  • Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of IP-based events (pop-ups, mall activations, themed exhibitions).
  • Collaborate with licensors, mall management, and partners to ensure events align with brand guidelines.
  • Develop and manage event timelines, budgets, and on-site logistics.
  • Oversee event layouts, site installations, and dismantling, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Oversee retail team in terms of individual performance, adherence to procedures and company policies.
  • Schedule working hours of ground staff for events and pop-up store.
  • Enhance profitability, productivity, and efficiency throughout the company's event operations.
  • Assist in fixtures & inventory stock-taking and event preparation in the warehouse.
  • Able to work on weekends/PH and late hours when there is an event launch or as required.


2. Marketing & Communications:


  • Create engaging and captivating content related to the company's IP-based products or services. This may include social media updates, videos, newsletters, and more.
  • Manage the company's social media accounts, monitor engagement, respond to comments, and brainstorm ideas for increasing online visibility and follower growth.
  • Identify and build relationships with relevant influencers or content creators who align with the brand's IP-based focus. Coordinate influencer partnerships and collaborations to expand brand reach.
  • Craft and schedule email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and promotions to engage the company's customer base and drive conversions.
  • Work closely with brands, agencies, and vendors for approval of product development, design, etc.
  • Craft compelling media release articles and reach out to media outlets to promote the company’s upcoming releases. Receive and attend to media guests during launch day to generate positive brand affinity. Work closely with photographers and videographers on producing effective marketing communications.


Qualifications:


  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3 - 5 years +) in event management and marketing, with a focus on IP or brand activation events.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in design and digital marketing tools (Adobe Illustrator, social media, email marketing, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
