Responsibilities
- Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of his assigned vessels at all times.
- Able to provide analysis of the nature and causes of serious breakdowns and damage
- Ensure that vessels under his management complies with statutory, class and other third-party requirements
- Possesses a strong understanding of the technical knowledge of ships and keeps abreast of industry standards and regulations
- In charge of budget Compliance, which is to ensure maintenance and repair in accordance with company standards and within approved budget
- Ensure coordination of activities with the operations department to ensure that ship support is achieved in the most efficient and cost-effective manner
- Overseas and allocate resources to support operations efficiently
- Expected to carry out regular ship visits as per the company requirement and update vessel status consistently
- Other ad hoc duties assigned
Requirements
- Minimum 3 Years of Relevant work experiences in handling engines, sailed or vessel management
- COC qualification is required
- Overtime is required (when needed), with off in lieu given
