We are seeking an experienced IT Manager (Operations) to lead our cloud infrastructure operations, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our AWS-based environments.
In this role, you will manage day-to-day cloud operations, monitor system performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud resources. You will also drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure the successful deployment and maintenance of cloud services.

- Salary Package: Up to $9,000 (basic) + AWS
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AWS architecture, cloud operations best practices, and experience managing cloud environments for high-availability and mission-critical applications. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills are essential, as you will oversee a team and manage complex cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the cloud operations team, ensuring 24/7 availability and optimal performance of AWS cloud environments.
- Oversee daily cloud operations, including monitoring, incident management, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Implement and maintain best practices for AWS cloud architecture, security, scalability, and disaster recovery.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of cloud services.
- Manage cost optimization strategies to ensure efficient use of AWS resources.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Ensure compliance with cloud security policies and manage the implementation of security controls.
- Serve as the escalation point for critical cloud infrastructure issues, leading incident response efforts and communication with stakeholders.
- Conduct capacity planning and ensure cloud infrastructure can scale to meet business demands.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud operations, with a focus on AWS.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and CloudWatch.
- Experience with monitoring and automation tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible) to manage cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and high-availability best practices.
- AWS certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, etc.) are preferred.
