about the job
You will be an in-house lawyer with prior work experiences in the construction industry. You will be integral in advising and reviewing a wide variety of engineering procurement contracts and identifying risks in tandem with the commercial team. You will also be a key point of contact managing external legal resources and panel firms for various construction disputes. You will also be expected to travel regionally on a needs basis.
about the manager/team
You will be the sole counsel overseeing various ASEAN jurisdictions and setting up the legal department in the region. You will also work closely with the local country director in Singapore.
skills and experience required
You would need at least 8 years of legal experiences primarily in the construction, infrastructure or manufacturing sectors. Engineering procurement contracting experiences are integral to this role. Prior exposure to managing construction disputes are highly advantageous. Cross border or regional experiences are advantageous.
