- Collecting and interpreting data related to financial markets from various sources, including but not limited to stocks, bonds, currencies, and commodities and can include retails, consumer staples, banks and non-bank finance, chemicals, oil & gas, technology hardware, technology semiconductors, energy, and etc.
- Focusing on specific niches, such as industry sectors, geographical regions, or asset classes.
- Provide modelling and analysis reports on sectors and companies.
- Countries include Hong Kong, Singapore, and other south-east Asian countries.
2. Expertise Building:
- Staying updated on market trends and developments. Analyzing business and economic trends and interpreting valuable insights
- Preparing detailed reports and giving presentations. Provide insights to support informed decisions of clients in the financial markets.
3. Interaction and Networking:
- Meeting with company management, stockbrokers, fund managers, and other key players.
- Building local knowledge through travel and professional networks.
Work Experience and Qualification:
- Possess similar experience in the finance industry of not less than 10 years with extensive experience on market research and analysis. Possess experience as a company Director; Worked in Hong Kong or China markets for at least 10 years and have sound knowledge in relation to Hong Kong, Singapore, China and other Asian countries.
- Have established good connections in the Hong Kong or China markets in the finance industry for the purpose of market research.
- Hold a CFA degree and a master’s degree in finance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluent in both English and Chinese.
