Objective of the role:
- You will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for Contract Logistics.
The Role:
- Build relationship networks within client teams, consultants, land developers/agents and suppliers.
- Ability to tie in with country specific solution teams.
- Handle country RFI’s and RFQ’s.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline that both credible and transparent, meeting the required sales targets.
- Ability to write up the technical solution aspects of the proposal and support overall proposal write up.
- Understand various costing models, review commercial terms and conditions while aware those potential risks.
- Present solution with executive management teams.
- Ability to work through and analyze client data to be able to build a solution given a certain set of assumptions. Where data is lacking the ability to benchmark against existing operations become crucial.
- Oversee handover from Sales to Implementation and kick start project team.
- Ability to support internal cross divisional solutions/teams in end-to-end solutions.
What Do You Need to Have?
- Candidate MUST possess a Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistic or any related discipline.
- Candidate MUST possess 5 to 8 years of sales/business development working experience in the Logistic/3PL/Supply Chain industry with experiences in Business Development in Contract Logistics.
- Knowledge of RFQ and Tender procedures.
- Proposal writing skills and knowledge of warehousing, logistics services and supply chain management (both operational and strategic).
- Working knowledge of various costing methods and cost drivers (Fixed/Variable /Activity).
