The Role

Reporting to the Regional Financial Controller, the Finance Assistant will play a key role in delivering a first-class service to our international group. Based at our office in Singapore, you will support team members across the group to ensure accurate accounting and reporting in our Far East divisions. Key responsibilities will include:

· Assisting the sales administrator in reviewing orders and ensuring all sales invoices have been raised.

· Timely contact with customers to ensure balances are paid on time and in full;

· Working closely with wider business to input and manage supplier invoices. This includes matching invoices to purchase order and processing approved invoices on the finance system.

· Preparing the monthly Payroll & weekly payment run. This includes preparing a list of due payments and liaising closely with suppliers to address queries.

· Bank reconciliation and assisting the Regional financial controller with the monthly management accounts;

· Assisting with Capex analysis and reporting;

· Assisting Regional Financial Controller with Cashflow forecasting and reporting;

· Managing audit requests for group management accounts

· Ad-hoc project work and duties as and when required.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent attention to detail and proven ability to work to tight deadlines.

· Microsoft Excel capability with proven experience of data management and analysis.

· Must know written & spoken - English, Cantonese and spoken – Mandarin.

  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency across the Microsoft office suite.
  • Able to prioritise and manage a varied workload whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong stakeholder management skills

Desirable

  • CPA with a minimum of 1-year PQE;

· Trained in a Big-4 environment
