In the energy industry, primarily focusing on natural gas. One of the largest provider of city gas in Japan, supplying natural gas for residential, commercial, and industrial use. The company is also involved in energy production, distribution, and related services, including liquefied natural gas (LNG), power generation, and renewable energy projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and assess financing options, including debt, equity, and hybrid structures.
- Prepare financial proposals and documentation for internal approvals, presentations, and negotiations.
- Build and revise cash flow models, analyze them, and create reports for internal discussions and external negotiations.
- Lead and participate in meetings with financial institutions, supporting negotiations.
- Provide financial insights, recommendations, and analysis to support business development efforts.
- Assess financial risks, propose mitigation strategies, and ensure project financial health.
- Build and maintain relationships with key financial partners, investors, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with project teams and coordinate with external advisors when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a project finance role.
- Previous experience in the energy or infrastructure sectors is an advantage.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Proactive and motivated, with the ability to independently drive projects forward.
- Ability to consider multiple perspectives and find effective solutions.
- Self-starter with a logical and solution-oriented mindset.
