Job Summary
This role require someone physically fit to perform tasks as he/she require standing, lifting, and moving materials and place on trolley.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with production supervisors and line managers to schedule and prioritize various vegetable processing tasks and projects.
- Set up, operate, and maintain specialized food processing equipment, such as washing, cutting, blanching, and packaging machines.
- Perform quality control checks and inspections to ensure processed vegetables meet food safety and quality standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and assist with the organization and maintenance of the production floor.
- Communicate effectively with production staff, technicians, and other stakeholders to address issues and resolve problems.
- Ensure the production area is well-organized, clean, and in compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Provide general support to the production team, including assisting with tasks, running errands, and helping with material movement and handling.
- Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and food safety.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with vocational or technical training in food processing preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience working in a food or vegetable processing factory environment.
- Experience in the operation and maintenance of various food processing equipment and machinery.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret production schedules, recipes, and technical manuals.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality, food safety, and sanitation.
