Job Responsibilities


Accounting & Financial Reporting

  • Handle full sets of accounts for the SCDA Group, including invoicing, receipt updates, vendor invoice processing, payment arrangements, journal entries, inter-company charges, bank reconciliation, balance sheet schedules, fixed assets registers, and general ledger maintenance
  • Manage and perform the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, cash management, and bank reconciliations
  • Supervise the monthly closing process, ensuring the preparation of accurate financial statements and management accounts with analysis against previous FY and Quarter
  • Perform ledger tasks such as accruals, provisions, reconciliations, and journal entries as required
  • Manage the annual statutory audit and liaise with external auditors to ensure smooth completion
  • Prepare and review quarterly GST submission to IRAS
  • Develop, implement and monitor internal controls to ensure integrity of financial reporting as well as adequate risk management including appropriate documentation
  • Assist in fulfilling regulatory and statutory reporting requirements, including tax computation and other related statutory filings required
  • Support cash flow forecasting and cash management processes.
  • Other ad-hoc projects as assigned

Job Requirements


Education & Certification

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting/Business or a related field
  • Chartered Accountant qualifications (CPA) preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years working experience in a related field
  • Strong knowledge in accounting (IFRS) and tax regulations, operational risk management and design of internal control systems.

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong structural, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good team player with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Fluent in written and verbal communication in English and Mandarin.
