Purchasing Officer and Project Admin - Construction Industry

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the entire procurement process, ensuring compliance with company policies while evaluating options based on cost, quality, and environmental impact. Source materials that meet project standards for cost-efficiency and timely delivery.
  • Prepare, issue, and maintain project-related documents, such as contracts and purchase orders. Provide accurate procurement reports and keep organized records of purchasing costs and project documents for future reference.
  • Collaborate with logistics, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution, from the delivery of materials to the completion of paperwork, while maintaining open communication with clients for project updates and inquiries.
  • Schedule, organize, and facilitate meetings with project teams, clients, and subcontractors. Prepare meeting agendas and minutes to ensure clear communication and alignment on project progress.
  • Assist in monitoring project progress to ensure milestones and deadlines are met. Manage financial transactions related to projects, including processing invoices, tracking payments, and maintaining records of expenses.
  • Maintain and track project contracts and amendments to ensure compliance with agreed terms and conditions. Support the project closeout process by ensuring all administrative and contractual obligations are fulfilled.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 'O' level and above
  • Minimum 1-2 years of purchasing experience in Construction industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Words and Excel)
  • Good Communication, negotiation, problem solving and sourcing skills
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision and in a team
