We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team and help us expand our client base and market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify new business opportunities, emerging market trends, and potential clients within the geotechnical field (construction, infrastructure, energy, etc.).
- Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients and expand the company’s footprint in construction industry in the areas of geotechnical instrumentation & monitoring works and in new areas
- Conduct competitive analysis and evaluate market demand for geotechnical services.
- Identify and develop strong relationships with new clients, consultants, contractors, and other partners and stakeholder.
- Attend industry events, seminars, and conferences to network and promote the company’s geotechnical services.
- Foster partnerships with consultants, subcontractors, and industry stakeholders to expand business opportunities.
- Oversee the preparation of bids, tenders, and proposals for new projects and scope.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proposals meet client requirements and are competitive in pricing.
- Identify and pursue sales leads, including expanding into new markets or geographical regions.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Identify growth opportunities in areas such as new technologies, sustainable practices, or regulatory changes impacting the geotechnical industry.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery for new clients.
- Track business development efforts and sales performance, providing regular reports to senior management.
- Analyse sales data and adjust strategies to optimize performance and meet revenue goals.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Min. 10 years of experience and proven track record in sales, business development, or a related role, preferably within construction industry in the areas of geotechnical instrumentation & monitoring works.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and competitive environment.
