Job Summary
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to help expand our solar product business in Southeast Asia. The role is open to candidates from any related industry with a proven track record in sales. The ideal candidate will have strong sales skills, a history of achieving results, and be willing to learn and grow in the solar energy sector. Stable track record in one or two companies is a must.( 2 to 3 years one role)
- Identify New Business:Find new sales opportunities in Southeast Asia (Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, etc.).
Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the business.
- Build Relationships:Maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and partners.
Attend industry events and trade shows to meet potential customers.
- Manage Sales Process:Lead the sales process from prospecting to closing deals.
Prepare proposals and negotiate contracts with customers.
- Work with Teams:Collaborate with internal teams (technical, finance) to ensure smooth project execution.
Track and report on sales performance and market trends.
Requirements
- Experience:5-8 years of sales or business development experience in the engineering industry.
Proven success in achieving sales targets in Southeast Asia. stable career movements.
- Skills:Knowledge of similar products
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory.
- Education:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Other:Willingness to travel across Southeast Asia.
Fluency in English (other Southeast Asian languages are a plus).
