Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections of facility, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards.
- Conduct monthly EHS inspections with EHS committee members to identify and address safety issues.
- Oversee and lead monthly safety meetings, safety metric reporting and departmental safety audits.
- Investigate industrial accidents and injuries, determine root causes and suggest preventive measures.
- Ensure compliances with all legal safety requirements & regulations, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 systems.
- Collaborate with contractors and vendors to resolve safety, environmental, and health concerns.
- Maintain licenses and update ISO documentations.
- Provide EHS information, reports and conduct in-house safety training and health campaigns.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health & safety policies, regulations, and industrial processes.
- Ensure proper implementation of security and emergency procedures.
- Oversee the maintenance of building and facility system.
- Maintain records of facility equipment and schedule maintenance schedules.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma/Degree in Environmental Engineering or relevant discipline
- Minimum 3 years experience in EHS/WSHO/Facility management or similar function
- Experience in hazardous material handling, industrial hygiene, and emergency planning.
- Strong knowledge of local EHS regulations and other relevant standards.
