This position contributes to the generation of profit by providing with information pertaining to domestic and export grains markets. This role has a strong focus on analytical work, to strengthen the destination regional commercial team, and ensure constant synthesis/communication with the global team.

Main Responsibilities:
1) Global Trading
- Coordination and development of trading book, from origin to destination
- Close interaction with Australia, US, Argentina as well as with the team in China
- Develop an optional book, trade the arb, find the right hedging tools at the different times of the year
2) SSEA Trading
- Cash Trading / Merchandising of commodity, in coordination with Global Book
- Work closely with Global trading book trying to connect customers behavior with positioning across the different origins through the different times of the year.
- Take ownership of a specific flow (product/destination(s), pricing, negotiation of trades, overview and optimization of executions, and coordination with relevant internal stakeholders
- Develop and strengthen commercial relationships / partnerships with existing and potential customers
- Analyze, synthesize and disseminate to relevant parties’ market/customer/activity information
- Support company growth in the region by proposing / identifying business development & investment opportunities
Experiences:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar position
- Full understanding of balance sheet analysis including the factors which impact each component of the balance sheet
- Understanding of the market and influence of other markets, including other domestic and international commodity markets
- Ability to source, aggregate, analyse, maintain up to date data and research material
- Strong and clear written and verbal communication skills and an open and inquiring mind
- Ability to interpret and analyse qualitative and quantitative information
- Attention to detail and accurate data entry, inc. advanced Excel skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise quickly
- Experience in agricultural markets, preferably bulk commodity export
- Ability to formulate, communicate, and defend market views, supported by analytical work
Academics:
- Degree inEconomics / Agriculture/ Trade or related field of study
