Monday to Friday: 8.00am to 12.00pm
Location: Boon Lay - Primary School
1 year contract for term 2025.
Main responsiblities
- Maintain school gardens/ green space
- Water the plant and pruning, staking feeding and spraying pesticides.
- Inspect and report and minor repairs in the gardens
secondary task
Support Envorinmental Club, Urban Farming and Hydroponics.
- assist in teaching- CCA activities, urban farming and hydroponics
- guide student and lesson preparations
Job Requirement
Knowledge of
- Trimming, tree cutting and pruning
- Irrigation and irrigation system management
- Application of chemical and organic herbicides, pesticides and fertilisers
- Soil management activities
- Sowing, cultivation and propagation of plants, trees and shrubs
- Cultivating fruit and vegetable plants
- How the hydroponic system functions, simple troubleshooting and problem solving
