Job Responsibilities:
- Testing the performance of marine engines and electrical systems
- Carrying out overhaul/troubleshooting of main engines and generators
- Completing service records and repair documents; maintains paper work documentation of work performed in a complete and timely manner including service reports, parts returns and other repair related reports deemed necessary
- Ensure all repair procedures are carried out according to the service manual instructions
- Ensure service jobs are completed efficiently within the standard job hour guidelines
- Ensure work areas are kept clean and tidy at all times, maintaining good housekeeping
- To perform in-house and on-site calibration
- Traveling to shipyard/docking area where the vessel is located
- Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Possess minimum Certificates/Nitec and/or Diploma or equivalent with relevant experience as a marine mechanic
