Senior Finance Executive (Logistics Manufacturing)

About Our Client

• Logistics Manufacturing in Changi South Area
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
• Training Location: Initial training will be conducted at the headquarters in Kranji
  *Must be comfortable with this arrangement

Job Description

1. Full Set of Accounts:Prepare and manage financial statements, including profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow.
   Handle accounts receivable (AR) processes.
   Perform bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end/year-end closing.
   
2. Multi-Entity Accounting:Manage financial reporting for multiple entities, including consolidation and intercompany transactions.
   Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, and audit requirements across entities.
   Oversee multi-currency transactions and forex adjustments where applicable.
   
3. Budgeting and Forecasting:Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
   Provide variance analysis to track actual performance against budgets.
   
4. Compliance and Taxation:Ensure adherence to local tax regulations (GST, corporate tax).
   Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents during audits and tax filing.
   
5. Systems and Process Improvements:Implement finance process improvements and ensure data integrity.
   Utilize financial systems (SAGE, accounting software) to streamline operations.
   
6. Liaison and Reporting:Liaise with internal departments, such as operations and sales, for financial alignment.
   Prepare management reports and provide insights for decision-making.
   

The Successful Applicant

• Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in handling a full set of accounts, preferably within the 3PL, logistics, or freight forwarding industry.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
