Roles & Responsibilities


We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Technical Project Manager to oversee and manage infrastructure projects from inception to completion. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and project management skills to ensure the successful delivery of IT infrastructure initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Execution: Lead the planning and execution of IT infrastructure projects such as server upgrades, data center migrations, network enhancements, cloud migrations, and hardware installations.
  • Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, coordinating efforts among stakeholders, engineers, and vendors to ensure project success.
  • Requirements Gathering: Work with stakeholders to gather and define project requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment with business objectives.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize the impact on project timelines and deliverables.
  • Progress Tracking: Monitor project milestones and deliverables, providing regular status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, issues, and changes.
  • Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with external vendors to ensure the timely delivery of infrastructure solutions, manage contracts, and handle escalations.
  • Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and costs are controlled.
  • Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and support for infrastructure solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and best practices.
  • Pre-Sales Support: Assist in pre-sales activities by engaging with potential clients to understand their requirements and present suitable infrastructure solutions.
  • Project Conversion: Identify and pursue opportunities to convert proposals into active projects, working closely with sales teams to drive success.
  • Revenue Growth: Develop strategies to enhance project profitability and contribute to overall revenue growth through effective project management.
  • Post-Implementation Review: Conduct post-project evaluations to assess outcomes, identify lessons learned, and recommend improvements for future projects.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and fulfill project requirements.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, meeting notes, and change requests.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management in IT infrastructure, with a strong understanding of VMware, Hyper-V virtual environments, Windows and Linux operating systems, network, server, storage, backup, and cloud technologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management tools.
