Software Developer (DevOps)

Role Overview:
As a Software Engineer (DevOps), you will play a vital role in creating and maintaining the technology infrastructure that supports our digital solutions. This position offers you the opportunity to deliver strategic partnerships and cutting-edge technology solutions, helping us achieve our vision of being a technology-driven investment firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable DevOps pipelines, tools, and frameworks.
- Work collaboratively with development, cloud, and security teams to integrate best practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Establish and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Stay informed on the latest security trends and best practices, providing actionable recommendations for improvements.
- Analyze business needs and develop solutions to enhance operational capabilities.
- Conduct peer code reviews and offer technical mentorship to colleagues.
- Execute System Integration Tests and collaborate with business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Create and maintain documentation and guides for new or improved systems.
- Automate self-service processes and templates for development teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, STEM, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps) are a plus.
- Over 8 years of experience in software development, DevOps, solution design, software testing, and production support.
- Proficient in C# or Python, with a strong emphasis on Test Driven Development (TDD).
- Familiarity with database technologies such as Microsoft SQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
- Deep understanding of DevOps principles, practices, and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and infrastructure automation.
- Strong knowledge of security and networking principles, protocols, and technologies.
- Proficient in using GitHub for version control, collaboration, and code reviews; experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation is preferred.
- Experience with JFrog Artifactory for managing software package repositories.
- Knowledge of application security tools (e.g., SAST and OSS).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
