Restaurant Manager Job Purpose
As a manager, you will be responsible for a broad range of different tasks. One of the most common areas new employees start off is the front counter. You will regularly prepare a variety of different baguette and be responsible for ensuring food safety procedures are followed. You may also be expected to operate cash registers, hand out food and drinks to customers as well. Here are the main duties and responsibilities of service crew in Uncle Ho’s Cafe.
Duties for front of house - Food Pass
· Greet customers as they enter and thank them for their business as they leave
· Prepare baguette and drinks according to the café specifications
· Packing and ensure customer is given their correct orders when they come to the collection counter
· Keeps stations clean and complies with food safety standards.
· Clean and maintain designated area during downtime
· Weekly stock check and ordering of packaging materials
Duties for front of house - Cashier
· Knows the menu well and able to recommend dishes to customers
· Take customer orders correctly and efficiently
· Secondary duties of maintain cleanliness of the restaurant includes sweeping and mopping the floor
· Able to do end of day closing of the restaurant
· Any other duties assigned by the reporting manager in line with the company’s Vision and Mission
