Responsibilities
- Build, develop and maintain relationships with internal sales (RM/IMs) and partner with them to help clients better understand their alternatives portfolios, funds DB are capital raising and the broader alternative investment landscape
- Work closely with global teams to design and drive product campaigns for the firm’s alternatives products
- Manage strategy-specific existing client engagements across private markets, working alongside sales, fund research and external managers to deliver in a timely manner
- Work with CIO, research and external managers to develop content on alternative investments across topics including asset allocation, portfolio construction and risk management
- Key role in onboarding structuring partners to help drive scale within the business and develop the client experience when investing in alternative investments
- Provide after sales support for internal sales and clients
- Manage a range of client and product data analytics (including product performance analyses and analyzing client capital raising outcomes)
Background
- Minimum 7 years experience for VP in the alternatives investment industry in a product/client facing role. Prior private markets, hedge funds, manager selection, investor relations with alternative funds, banking or capital markets experience is a must
- Strong experience in markets, asset management, and understanding of traditional and alternative asset classes
- Individuals with industry knowledge and background from Wealth Management, Private Banking and Asset Management firms
- Exhibit strong communication (verbally & written), interpersonal and organizational skills when engaging internally and externally with clients
- Team player that is self-motivated and can demonstrate ability to position alternative investments with success with private clients
- Ability to use Excel, Word, and PowerPoint effectively
- Fluency in English and Mandarin required due to requirement to cover Chinese speaking clients
Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirements may apply.
