Job Description:
- Periodically review patients to evaluate their progress, ensure high-quality care, and identify any additional care or services they may need.
- Provide supervisory guidance and support to staff members.
- Attend meetings and participate in assigned committees.
- Conduct regular audits of staff performance to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure compliance. Assist in reviewing and updating KPIs to enhance nursing standards if needed.
- Help manage the ward roster to ensure sufficient staffing at all times.
- Take corrective and preventive actions to address or minimize critical quality issues.
- Review patients’ case notes and nursing documentation to ensure records are accurate and meet legal documentation requirements.
- Oversee the onboarding and orientation of new hires
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor of Nursing
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in a hospital setting with 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
- Valid Registered Nurse practicing certificate issued by Singapore Nursing Board
- Possess leadership and management skills
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills, with positive work attitude and a strong commitment towards service excellence
