Job Description:
- Project for manpower requirements according to nursing workload to ensure service needs are met
- Participate actively in the interviewing and selection of new nurses.
- Conduct performance appraisal of nurses collaboratively with Nurse Managers and Nurse Clinician/s
- Supervise nurses in the delivery of quality nursing service to patients according to professional nursing standards
- Audit/ supervise/ oversee nursing care regularly, identify areas for improvement and provide constructive feedback to raise the standard of care delivered to patients
- Conduct meetings with nurses regularly and provide constructive feedback to improve delivery of nursing care
- Conduct training needs analysis to develop nurses according to their potentials and clinic’s service needs
- Coach and guide nurses in the planning for emergency, disease outbreaks and mass vaccination exercises
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor of Nursing
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in a hospital setting with 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
- Valid Registered Nurse practicing certificate issued by Singapore Nursing Board
- Possess leadership and management skills
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills, with positive work attitude and a strong commitment towards service excellence
