Job Summary:
We are looking for a technically skilled and highly motivated Technical Sales Engineer to support our sales team and assist customers with engineering solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong mechanical engineering background, excellent technical drawing skills, and the ability to create detailed technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to the sales team and customers by preparing technical drawings, designs, and product documentation.
- Assist in the development of customized solutions by interpreting customer requirements and aligning them with product capabilities.
- Use AutoCAD and 3D modeling software to create and modify technical drawings, diagrams, and models.
- Work closely with the sales team to provide technical expertise during client presentations, meetings, and proposal development.
- Respond to technical inquiries and provide detailed product information, specifications, and guidance to customers.
- Prepare cost estimates and assist in developing proposals and quotations based on customer requirements and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure that customer projects and designs meet technical standards and are delivered on time.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technical developments, and product innovations.
- Ensure all technical documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with industry standards.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of ITE qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience or educational background in mechanical engineering, with a minimum of 3 years of working experience.
- Strong technical skills, particularly in creating detailed technical drawings, schematics, and documentation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D modeling software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical customers.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and provide effective solutions.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
