Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively monitor faults and alarms across the 3.5GHz C-Band RAN systems to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Issue and track trouble tickets, ensuring timely resolution within the agreed service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Work closely with partners to develop and maintain standardized processes and procedures for system operations, configuration, and maintenance.
- Assist in assessing, planning, and scheduling changes via Change Requests (CR) raised
- Generate and provide monthly network performance reports, as well as ad-hoc reports requested by stakeholders
- Collaborate with vendors to conduct gNodeB software tests and upgrades, ensuring compatibility with 4G/5G Core Networks.
- Manage the scheduling and deployment of software updates to the live network in coordination with stakeholders.
- Manage access rights and system functions for vendors on the 5G RAN OSS platform.
- Oversee system upgrades, security functions, and routine maintenance activities.
- Provide technical support during project implementations and network expansions, ensuring all changes are seamlessly integrated into the existing infrastructure.
- Serve as the key point of contact for vendors and contractors on both operational and project-related activities.
Job Requirements:
- NITEC, Diploma, or Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Telecommunication Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimally two years of relevant working experience in telecommunication networks or a related field
- Basic knowledge of telecommunication networks is preferred. Familiarity with cellular networks is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of IP networking is also desirable.
- Capable of working independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders.
