Job Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve desktop-related issues.
- Set up desktop equipment and provide standby support as needed.
- Test, install, and maintain software, assessing the impact of version upgrades, and troubleshoot software-related issues on computing devices.
- Update equipment records in the Asset Management System.
- Perform preventive maintenance, including tasks like:Hard disk defragmentation.
Hard disk scanning.
Regularly building and maintaining hard disk images.
Reinstalling (cloning) desktop images when necessary.
Job Requirements:
- National ITE Certificate in Info-Communications Technology, Higher National ITE Certificate in Information Technology, or equivalent qualifications.
- Good technical support skills with the ability to troubleshoot a wide range of desktop issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to express technical information clearly to users.
