Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled L3 Cisco ACI Engineer to join our team on a 12-month contract. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of networking technologies, including SDN, and hands-on experience with Cisco ACI. You will play a crucial role in providing onsite support, troubleshooting, and designing network infrastructure for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Support: Provide onsite technical support, including troubleshooting, configuration, design, and escalated problem resolution.
- Project Collaboration: Serve as a key project team member, working closely with clients to analyze requirements, propose solutions, and consult on testing and deployment processes.
- Technical Lead: Act as a technology expert, advising clients on system enhancements and proposing solutions based on industry best practices.
- Vendor Management: Serve as the point of contact for client projects, interfacing with vendors to ensure the successful deployment of network infrastructure.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: 5-8 years of experience in network engineering, system design, and large-scale deployment, preferably in MNC environments.
- Networking Skills:Expertise in routing/switching technologies such as BGP, OSPF, etc.
Hands-on experience with LAN switches (e.g., Cisco, Huawei).
Proficient in designing/building complex LAN and large WAN networks.
- SDN Experience: Extensive experience with Software Defined Networking (SDN) solutions such as Cisco ACI, VMware NSX, or OpenFlow.
- Network Automation: Proficiency in network automation using scripting languages like Python or Ruby, and tools like Ansible, Chef, and Algosec.
- Network Security: Experience with network security tools, including Cisco firewall, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Fortigate, and IDS/IPS.
- Content Networking: Experience with content networking technologies like F5, including load balancers.
- Network Management Tools: Familiarity with network management tools like ServiceNow and SolarWinds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cisco certification (CCIE, CCNP, etc.) is highly desirable.
- Experience working in complex, large-scale network environments, including global infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with network security standards and best practices in data protection and privacy.
