Job Description
You will be reporting to the Head of Department directly.
Your responsibilities include:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and tracking of complex eSourcing initiatives, ensuring effective coordination of resources and communication with clients.
- Facilitate team discussions and project meetings to drive collaboration and alignment on goals.
- Share key project milestones and actions with stakeholders to ensure smooth progress.
- Lead the development of RFQ strategies and ensure successful execution.
- Ensure adherence to operational protocols while promoting continuous process improvement within the project team.
- Provide comprehensive updates on pre-bid and post-bid phases to inform decision-making.
- Distribute project outcomes and summaries to relevant team members and Procurement Business Leaders through executive reports.
- Maintain and update a comprehensive list of supplier contacts for each sourcing project.
- Coordinate with suppliers from start to end, arranging support from clients when necessary.
- Manage outreach efforts to suppliers, promoting the project and ensuring engagement with the supply base.
- Capture and communicate key insights on supplier interest and capabilities to the project team.
- Continuously gather feedback to adjust and optimize sourcing strategies.
- Proactively identify new sourcing opportunities by engaging directly with portfolio companies.
The Successful Applicant
You should have a Diploma or a Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or Communications related field and experience in procurement/sourcing position. You must possess strong communication and negotiation skills. It is essential that you have experience within the finance sector and knowledge on Ariba platform is a plus. You should be flexible with the working hours of this role as it caters to APAC, EMEA and USA.
