About Our Client
Our client is a dynamic financial services organisation focused on establishing and expanding supply chain financing solutions across Southeast Asia, with a particular emphasis on the Philippines. Backed by strategic investors and partnering with a prestigious financial institution, the company is embarking on a new venture to fill gaps in the market by leveraging partnerships within established networks of suppliers, customers and affiliates.
Job Description
- Conduct market research on the target market and evaluate the regulatory and compliance environment
- Evaluate the current management team and existing operations of the financial institution, identify the gaps between the current business and the supply chain financing business, and develop action plans to fill the gaps
- Leverage the key anchor's network of affiliates, customers, and suppliers to identify opportunities
- Take charge of setting up the new supply chain financing business, including recruiting the team, developing a 5-year business plan, developing products, credit policy and procedures, establishing IT infrastructure, etc.
- Responsible for delivering and monitoring financial performance, budgets, and profitability metrics
The Successful Applicant
- Proven experience in supply chain financing or a related financial services industry in a leadership role
- Strong experience in the Southeast Asian market, particularly the Philippines, is a plus
- Entrepreneurial mindset and results oriented
- Resiliency in problem-solving and flexible in navigating a new business environment
