Description
- Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java, with a focus on integrating Hadoop and Big Data technologies.
- UI Development: Create responsive and user-friendly interfaces using modern web technologies, ensuring seamless user experiences.
- Data Management: Utilize Hadoop and related technologies to process and analyse large datasets, optimizing for performance and scalability.
- Agile Collaboration: Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to foster a collaborative team environment.
- Production Support: Provide ongoing production support, troubleshooting issues, and implementing fixes to ensure high availability and performance of applications.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Testing: Develop and execute unit tests and integration tests to ensure application reliability and performance.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, continuously seeking ways to enhance application performance and user experience.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in full stack development, with a strong focus on Java and Big Data technologies.
- Proficiency in Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).
- Experience with Hadoop ecosystem components (e.g., HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark).
- Strong skills in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular).
- Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL).
- Experience working in Agile environments and understanding of Agile principles.
