We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process Engineer to join our team in the Petrochemical Industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in process design, optimization, and safety in accordance with industry standards. This role will involve working closely with other engineers, safety teams, and production staff to ensure smooth and safe operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize chemical processes within the Petrochemical industry.
- Implement and maintain processes that align with ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, SS651, and other relevant standards.
- Conduct process simulations using software such as Aspen Plus® and Aspen HYSYS® to improve system performance and efficiency.
- Work with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) to modify logic and sequences as needed.
- Ensure that processes comply with the IATF 16949 standard (if applicable) and IEC 61511 standard for functional safety (if applicable).
- Collaborate on Safety Case Regimes to assess and mitigate process risks.
- Engage in energy management initiatives, preferably in line with the Singapore Certified Energy Manager standards.
- Support ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to chemical processes and equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, safety, and maintenance departments to ensure efficient and safe operations.
- Stay updated with the latest technological developments and regulatory changes in the Petrochemical industry.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering.
- 3 - 5 years of working experience in Petrochemical industries is preferred.
- Singapore Certified Energy Manager (Preferred).
- Familiarity with the Safety Case Regime.
- Knowledge of IATF 16949 standard (Preferred).
- Experience with ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, and SS651 standards.
- Knowledge of the IEC 61511 standard for functional safety (Preferred).
- Expertise in process simulation software such as Aspen Plus® and Aspen HYSYS®.
- Hands-on experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS), including logic and sequence modification.
