- As the head of department, oversee the full range of HR functions, including recruitment, training, work pass applications, payroll, compensation, union matters, employee benefits, and more.
- Collaborate with Directors to establish and enhance HR systems and policies, proposing improvements as necessary. Take the lead in drafting HR policies.
- Develop, monitor, and refine overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures throughout the organization.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of HR system data.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for unions, the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), and other external organizations on employee-related matters.
- Negotiate and coordinate with insurers, brokers, or agents regarding the purchase and renewal of general insurance policies and employee benefit schemes.
- In the absence of subordinates, perform daily HR tasks in accordance with rules and regulations promptly and accurately.
- Prepare and monitor manpower budgets.
- Support the Directors in developing, reviewing, and managing performance appraisals and promotions.
- Ensure compliance with statutory reporting and filing requirements.
- Provide management with up-to-date market statistics on the economy, business environment, and labor market trends.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Directors.
