Duties and Responsibilities
The Executive supports the Manager in administration-centred activities such as:
- Provide marketing and corporate communications support to the school through production of collaterals (e.g. on-site branding materials, corporate videos, etc.). Depending on the project, this requires the job holder to produce written, graphic and multimedia contents.
- Implement digital communications plans through updates to the school website and creation of social media posts.
- Collate inputs from staff, write and disseminate parents' termly newsletters.
- Promote positive relations with stakeholders and partners by supporting key events, outreach activities and visits.
- Plan and organise photography sessions (liaise with the photographers and staff).
- Manage corporate gift inventory.
- Archive exchanges items and projects at Exhibition Centre, and maintains both the Visitor Centre and Exhibition Centre.
- Assist in the preparation of finance documents related to purchase of relevant services and goods.
- Assist in crafting news releases and copywriting of communications materials (such as yearbook, etc.).
Requirements:
- A minimum Diploma in Communications / Arts or related disciplines is required
- 1 - 2 years experience in marketing, advertising or public relations preferred
- Confident, and with a pleasant personality
- Ability to work as a team player
- Knowledge of graphic / multimedia design software (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, iMovie, Final Cut Pro or equivalent) and web publishing platforms
- Effectively bilingual is a plus
