The Role
This entry-level role provides essential knowledge and information support across the institute’s various initiatives. You will leverage your expertise in information gathering, organization, analysis, and presentation to conduct research on industries, markets, and the feasibility of new higher education programs.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Industry Research: Closely track global trends in the higher education sector and conduct market research on specific industries, sectors, and academic subjects.
- Feasibility Assessment: Conduct in-depth research and evaluations of the market potential for higher education programs in Singapore, including competitive analysis.
- Proposal Development: Prepare feasibility reports and business plans for specific higher education programs.
- Program Implementation Support: Provide support for the successful launch of new higher education programs in Singapore.
- Marketing Support: Provide essential information, including competitive intelligence and industry insights, for marketing new higher education programs.
- Other Responsibilities: Assist with other related tasks, including information collection, analysis, and evaluation in collaboration with other teams as required.
Requirements
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (Masters preferred)
- Strong ability to quickly retrieve, collect, analyze, and transform information into actionable insights
- High proficiency in English (verbal and written) and upper-intermediate Chinese for business communication
- Results-driven and task-oriented, with a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to meet deadlines efficiently
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Proven work experience of 1 - 2 years as a research analyst preferred
- Prior experience in the higher education sector, research, or market analysis is a plus.
