Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide information on menus, including recommendations based on customer preferences
- Take accurate orders and communicate them effectively to the kitchen and bar staff
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring attention to detail and presentation
- Provide suggestions on wine pairings and alcohol offerings to enhance the dining experience
- Monitor and attend to guest needs throughout the dining experience, ensuring satisfaction
- Process payments accurately and operate the point-of-sale system efficiently
- Assist in setting up and breaking down service areas and dining spaces
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations
- Address guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a waiter/waitress or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while multitasking
- Knowledge of wine and spirits is a significant advantage
