The Delta-NTU Corporate Laboratory for Advanced Robotics invites applications for the position of Research Associate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop algorithms to identify static, dynamic, and repetitive features and build corresponding maps based on point clouds
- Collaborate with other team members to develop multi-sensor fusion localization and mapping algorithms for dynamic feature scenes
- Design and develop both mechanical and software systems for sensor suits to be added to UGVs with proper computing platform
- Assist in on-site experiments and data acquisition in application environment
Job Requirements:
- Master’s degree in engineering or science
- Experience in LIDAR and visual SLAM for robotics or unmanned systems
- Good programming skills in C/C++ or Python
- Knowledge in machine learning
- Ability to work independently and contribute to the whole team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
