Responsibilities and Duties:
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment, machinery, and operating systems, identifying and correcting issues as needed.
- Maintain high standards in mechanical operations, ensuring systems meet operational and safety requirements.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues with motors, pumps, conveyors, hydraulic systems, and other related equipment.
- Provide expert-level technical support and guidance to junior technicians when necessary.
- Perform both independently and as part of a team to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Adhere strictly to company safety guidelines, procedures, and industry standards.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machinery as per established protocols.
Technical Skills:
- Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and rigging equipment for daily tasks.
- Perform welding using cutting torches as needed for repairs and maintenance.
- Operate and maintain heavy industrial equipment, including forklifts, scissor lifts, basket trucks, and bobcats.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with both company and customer regulations, as well as policies.
- Maintain and manage personal tools, including keeping an up-to-date, documented personal tool inventory.
- Accurately manage time records and complete work orders in a timely manner.
- Foster positive relationships with both customers and team members through effective communication and professionalism.
