Role Overview:


We are seeking a skilled Interior Designer with a focus on the elderly sector to create functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing environments tailored to the needs of senior clients. This role involves working closely with clients and stakeholders to develop interior designs that enhance comfort and accessibility for elderly individuals.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Site Assessment: Visit locations to evaluate space availability and design requirements, ensuring designs meet the needs of elderly occupants.
  2. Client Consultations: Engage with clients to understand their design preferences, needs, and specific requirements related to elderly care, including accessibility and safety features.
  3. Design Development: Create initial design sketches and colour schemes that reflect client preferences and accommodate the unique needs of elderly individuals.
  4. Approval Process: Present design concepts to clients for approval before developing detailed CAD designs and comprehensive briefs for contractors and supervisors.
  5. Project Coordination: Hire and manage contractors, including carpenters, painters, plumbers, and electricians, to execute design plans.
  6. Material Management: Oversee the procurement of materials and furnishings necessary for the project, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards.
  7. Project Management: Schedule and manage project milestones, ensuring completion within budget and on time, while keeping clients informed of progress.
  8. Construction Oversight: Inspect construction work to ensure adherence to design specifications, safety codes, and standards.

Core Responsibilities:

  1. High-Level Design Objectives: Develop design strategies that align with client goals and enhance elderly living spaces.
  2. Architectural Design: Use 2D and 3D design software to create functional and appealing interiors.
  3. Budget Management: Establish and manage budgets that meet project requirements and constraints.
  4. Timeline Management: Schedule and oversee project phases, ensuring timely completion.
  5. Compliance and Standards: Ensure construction meets all relevant codes and standards.
  6. Material Sourcing: Select and source materials required for construction and design.
