Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee performance of outsourced maintenance service providers for civil & building systems in the hospital.
- Audit and monitor service standards of vendors to ensure all systems remain functional and serviceable.
- Support Head of Department and Building Managers in managing capital replacements, improvement projects, and maintenance.
- Manage contracts related to civil & building systems, including drafting, evaluation, negotiation, and execution.
- Ensure compliance with contract management policies and monitor performance of specialist vendors.
- Maintain contractual records and provide documentation when needed.
- Develop and implement procedures, policies, and checklists to align with industry best practices.
- Manage vendor performance, ensuring timely repair of system faults, conducting audits, and providing recommendations.
- Oversee risk management efforts in contract procurement, audits, and facility system upgrades.
- Lead investigations into system failures and contribute to ongoing staff development.
Candidate Profile:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Services, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in managing civil & building services, facilities operations, and improvement projects.
- Proficient in contract management, vendor performance monitoring, and risk management.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Certification in Fire Safety Manager/Officer or relevant fire safety experience is advantageous.
- Excellent analytical abilities and positive work attitude to collaborate across all levels of staff.
