Job Responsibilities:
- Proactively generate and pursue new sales leads
- Attend targeted networking events and conferences to establish new business relationships
- Actively seek both short-term and long-term tender (RFQ) business opportunities
- Develop a local business strategy and enhance the local presence of your logistics and service offerings
- Define the local value proposition and work closely with the local product team to drive sales and support the product’s P&L
- Promote the global value proposition, ensuring a seamless customer experience
- Coordinate efforts between the Global and Regional teams, across functions and regions, to enhance cross-selling opportunities
- Ensure proper contract adherence and smooth business onboarding processes
- Advocate for the organization with local decision-makers who influence international tenders, as well as those in the global marketplace
- Establish relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers within client organizations to facilitate business opportunities
Job Requirement(s)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Marketing, or a related field is required
- Preferably about 5 years of experience in Business Development or Key Account Management within the logistics and supply chain sector
- Experience in Contract Logistics (Operations, Solution Design, or Operational Excellence) is a must
- Willing to travel to different site locally
- Proven ability to independently lead tenders with minimal supervision or training
- Extensive knowledge and expertise in supply chains and logistics industries
- Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and persistent in overcoming challenges and closing deals
- Well-versed in current market expectations and trends
