Key Responsibilities:
- Conducted Managed and solved technical issues escalated from sites related to instrumentation and monitoring
- Managed site to maintain project timely executed, liaised with LTA, QPS team & design team for project design and requirement matters.
- Monitoring work progress & generate geotechnical instrumentation reports.
- Attend technical meetings with Clients, Contractors, and Consultants.
- Site evaluation of soil, rock, fault distribution, and geological studies on site to determine their engineering properties
- Conducted interpretation of actual soil conditions and test results and oversaw all excavation works (Cut-and-cover tunnel, slope, shaft, pipe jacking, etc.)
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of engineering geology experience with a Degree in Geology or Engineering Geology.
- Have experience in roles of geologist / instrumentation-monitoring engineer for deep excavation projects of similar scale and client, nature, and complexity, with knowledge of similar weathered granite deposits and ability to work under confined conditions (under tunnel roof slab)
- Well-versed in Civil Projects
