Job Description
- Position: Principal Engineer (Naval Architecture)
- Well Established Singapore Based Marine & Offshore MNC
- 5 Days Work Week
- Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $9,000
- Working Location: Tuas
- Outpatient Medical Insurance Provided

Main Responsibilities:
- Independently handling design projects and developing naval architecture & hull design.
- Provide assistance in enhancing the skills and knowledge of team members to support their professional development.
- Liaise with Owner / Class/ External Designer for the specific design requirement and provide technical solution.
- Lead team to general conceptual and basic design.
- Design and deliver tailored training programs, provide one-on-one coaching, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry practices.
- Perform naval architecture calculations such as speed performance prediction, stability/hydrostatic, scantling assessment, weight distribution, launching calculation etc.
- Responsible for delivering the respective project design drawing and document.
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture.
- At least 15 years of relevant experience in the marine / offshore industry, Hull & Hull and Naval Architecture design.
- Good knowledge and skill in coaching and structural/naval architecture design.
- Familiar with GHS / NAPA / FEMAP / AutoCAD / MS office.
- Good communication, analytical skills.
- Willing to learn and adapt to new challenges.
