The Opportunity:
Paula’s Choice Singapore is seeking to hire a dynamic DTC Ecommerce Specialist SEA with a proven track record in managing successful marketing campaigns across the SEA region. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and demonstrate an ability to negotiate effectively, ensuring optimal campaign performance. Passionate about the customer journey in the beauty and skincare industry, the candidate will collaborate closely with partners and DTC teams to ensure that every campaign and customer touchpoint aligns with Paula’s Choice E-commerce and marketing strategies, while upholding the brand’s mission and values. In addition, you will spearhead our paid advertising initiatives, working closely with our Digital Marketing agency. This role demands proficiency in data analytics and the ability to develop and implement advanced paid media strategies.
Reporting to the DTC E-Commerce Manager SEA, the role requires an innovative and agile individual who can learn fast and adapt campaigns quickly on E-commerce platforms to reflect rapidly changing beauty trends. With a focus on evolving Paula’s Choice to be best-in-class, s/he must be a big idea generator who champions agile execution, capable of performing regular P&L assessments to evaluate short, mid and long-term viability of campaigns on all designated channels across Southeast Asia.
Key responsibilities include:
Executing DTC Campaigns
- Have a commercial mindset and with that orientation- conceptualize, develop and execute sales and marketing campaigns, focusing on delivering a world-class customer experience.
- Work closely with our Brand team to ensure that campaign messaging is consistent across all touchpoints and aligned with the initial brand vision.
- Ensure that all campaign deliverables are executed in a timely manner, and monitor the performance so that it can be optimised on an ongoing basis.
- Stay updated on industry/consumer trends and E-commerce tools to create effective campaigns that prioritize building loyalty through means other than price promotions.
- Work with DTC collaborators and media partners in driving brand awareness and customer acquisition.
- Partner with Customer Excellence to drive conversion, customer satisfaction and revenue during campaigns.
- Work with Operations team to ensure inventory readiness for upcoming campaigns
- Weekly monitoring and reporting of business and campaign results, keeping tabs on A&P costs and measuring ROI to evaluate performance.
Digital Ads
- Manage the strategic direction of Ads campaigns in alignment with marketing objectives and target audiences, aiming to enhance user acquisition and overall company growth across multiple platforms (Google and META) while overseeing agency execution.
- Should be proficient in setting up ADS on our owned media channels and Google.
- Regularly review and analyse ad performance data, providing insightful reports and recommendations to improve advertising strategies, while ensuring agencies adhere to these insights.
- Collaborate with the SEO agency to guide research and recommend effective SEO keywords, focused on improving organic traffic, search rankings, and maximizing ROI
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including creative teams and data analysts, to ensure advertising campaigns are aligned with broader growth strategies..
- Liaise with the Brand team who will create and optimize ad creatives and landing pages, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and resonance with the target audience.
- Present monthly campaign marketing plans and performance reviews to SEA management, providing strategic insights.
- Manage and allocate advertising budgets, offering strategic recommendations for budget adjustments based on performance and business objectives..
- Continuously explore new opportunities and innovations, guiding the agency in integrating them into the paid media strategy to maintain competitiveness.
You possess:
- High proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- University degree, preferably in Marketing/Business.
- Min 3-4 years of relevant experience with a Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento), digital marketing channels, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Proven track record of driving online sales growth and optimizing ecommerce performance.
- Proven experience in managing projects with mid-large budgets
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
- At least 2 years’ experience with a brand-focused business with backend experience of marketplace platforms like Shopify and/or DTC (brand.com).
- 1-2 years working experience with a beauty/skincare/luxury brand will be plus.
- Strong project management skills, able to multi-task and manage multiple campaigns effectively, working well under pressure to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and presentation abilities to unite key stakeholders and cross-functional partners, including senior decision makers.
- Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to think out of the box when proposing solutions, constantly optimizing for best results.
- Foundational knowledge of email campaign marketing is a must, preferably with prior experience in Mailchimp or Klaviyo.
- Strong computer skills including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook is preferred.
- Strong IT and E-Commerce marketing capabilities such as proficiency in Google Analytics, Adobe, SEO or SMO management would be a plus
- Prior experience in running campaigns on Google and Facebook
