Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced ETF Trader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programmatic trading and a solid understanding of exchange-traded funds (ETFs). This role requires at least five years of relevant experience and a background in computer science or a related technical field. As an ETF Trader, you will be responsible for executing ETF trades, managing portfolios, and optimizing trading strategies using algorithmic trading tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute ETF trades across various markets to optimize portfolio performance and achieve investment goals.
- Develop, implement, and manage programmatic trading strategies to automate ETF trading processes.
- Analyze market data and trends to make informed trading decisions.
- Monitor trading activity to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal compliance policies.
- Collaborate with the portfolio management and research teams to enhance trading strategies and performance.
- Use quantitative models and algorithms to enhance the efficiency of trading executions.
- Maintain and develop tools for risk management, trading analytics, and reporting.
- Continuously improve and update trading systems in collaboration with IT and development teams.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in ETF trading or related financial markets roles.
- Proven experience in programmatic/algorithmic trading with a strong understanding of trading platforms and tools.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, Java, or similar languages used in trading systems.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a demonstrated ability to work with large datasets.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced and dynamic market conditions.
- With live trading database, or partners who have collaborated and can provide a live trading database.
- Chinese speaker preferred
