Project Engineer (Program Executive/NPI Engineer/ Process Engineer/Manufacturing Engineer/ Mold/Mould)

Our client is a global advanced precision engineering & manufacturing solutions provider.
Summary of Role:
- Reporting to Program Manager. Provide project management by liaise with customer on new project requirements and perform process execution as well as coordinate with in-house team
Responsibilities:
- Studies design, customer requirements, specifications and performance standards for new projects.
- Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
- Maintains and track project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities among quality, engineering and tooling for mold trial related activities; resolving and troubleshooting process and problems.
- Validate mold trial and assembly outcome required, mold, measurement and process improvement.
- Follow up and provide timely update and submission on project schedule.
- Maintains product and company reputation by complying with relevant regulations.
- Able to create a document like Process Flow, Control Plan, pFMEA, WI and related procedures.
- Authority to initiate and arrange engineering risk build.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in relevant discipline
- 3-5 years’ project management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of Plastic Injection Molding, process, project management or related field preferred
- Knowledge in ISO9001, ISO13485, TS16949, familiar with FMEA, PPAP, APQP and IOPQ.
- Sound knowledge in SPC, FMEA, DFM, DOE
