Overview: We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Head of Sales to lead our sales initiatives in Singapore. The successful candidate will be accountable for achieving sales targets, driving revenue growth, and developing strategic partnerships within the agriculture and food sectors. Retail experience is highly preferred, as we aim to strengthen our presence in this market.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Create and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets, focusing on market expansion and customer acquisition.
  • Leadership and Management: Lead and inspire the sales team, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Target Achievement: Directly responsible for meeting and exceeding sales targets, providing clear direction and support to the team.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and industry partners, promoting the benefits of our vertical farming solutions.
  • Market Insights: Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning, ensuring our offerings remain compelling and innovative.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product development teams to align strategies and enhance customer engagement.
  • Performance Reporting: Prepare regular sales forecasts and reports for senior management, providing insights into sales performance and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, or a related field, or equivalent
  • 5+ years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, ideally within agriculture, food tech, or sustainability sectors.
  • Retail experience preferred, with a proven track record of driving sales in retail environments.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Deep passion for sustainability and innovation in agriculture.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • With driving license preferred.
  • Own vehicle preferred with transport allowance provided.
