Job Description:
We are seeking a M&E Project Engineer Cum Drafter to oversee the mechanical and electrical aspects of construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the M&E works on-site, preparing technical drawings, ensuring compliance with regulations, and delivering projects within schedule and budget. This role involves collaboration with contractors, suppliers, colleagues, and clients to ensure the smooth execution of M&E tasks from design to handover.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee M&E works on construction sites, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
- Prepare and review M&E designs and drawings, ensuring adherence to codes, regulations, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors and consultants to resolve technical issues related to M&E installations.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor work progress and quality, addressing any arising issues.
- Prepare and submit shop drawings, Revit BIM for coordination, as-built drawings, and construction drawings.
- Prepare and submit regular project reports detailing progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Manage project documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, and change orders.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to source M&E materials and equipment.
- Assist in the commissioning and handover of completed M&E systems to clients.
Requirements:
- Education: Minimum Degree in a relevant field.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in similar industries in Singapore.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit is a plus.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Good analytical and problem-solving abilities to address technical issues on-site.
- Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.
- Other Requirements: Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Salary: Up to $6,000 basic salary plus variable bonus.
- Working Days: Monday to Friday: 8am to 5pm; Saturday: 8am to 12pm.
